Bio
My name is Keith “Ladare” Manders. I am 18 years old
In 2008 I was admitted into Bethany Christian Services, where my main hobby
was secular rap. I had a hit song “Fatty” which was about my mom. My
therapist sat down and had an intervention telling me I could not leave his
office without singing the song to my mom. My mom is a very strong is a
very strong person and cries when something is extremely wrong. There have
only been two times I have seen her cry before this was when she lost her
twin baby boys , and when she broke her ankle. This rocked me to the core
because I realized my insult hurt her about the same as losing a child.
From that point on I vowed that I would never use rap to hurt another
person again.
Some accomplishments I’ve made; I’ve been in a hip-hop group USAB, they
helped me write Testify. I have performed at in my city of Coopersville for
open mic, Western University, Matthews House in Grand Rapids, Madison
Square Church in Grand Rapids, and five other churches around West
Michigan. I have also performed in Mackinaw Island, by being asked to come
on by Gospel artist Swen and Dean.
